Overview
This page explains how to submit copyright, rights-holder, and legal takedown review requests for posts on HiRule34.com (the "Site").
If your request concerns a specific post on the Site, please use the post-specific report flow. This helps us review the exact item and process the request with the relevant post details attached.
Post-Specific Reports
Each post detail page includes a Report / Take down request button. Use that button when you want us to review a specific post for removal or other legal action.
The report button opens a post-specific report page, usually in the format /report?id=<postId>. You may need to sign in before submitting a report.
How to Submit a Request
To submit a post-specific request:
- Open the post detail page for the content you want reviewed.
- Click the
Report / Take down requestbutton. - Choose the report reason that best matches your request.
- Provide a clear description of your claim.
- Include the original source URL or supporting reference when available.
- Complete the verification step and submit the form.
Reports submitted through the post flow are tied to the specific post shown in the form. This is the preferred way to request review of content on the Site.
Source-Level Removal
A report submitted through HiRule34 only asks us to review the specific post on this Site. If the same content exists on an original source or another third-party website, you may need to submit a separate request to that source as well.
Source-level removal may be the better first step when your goal is to remove or restrict the content at the place where it is hosted, published, or controlled. You may still use HiRule34's post report flow when you want us to review a specific post on this Site.
Information to Include
Please include enough information for us to understand and review your request. The report form may ask for:
- The reason for the report.
- A description of your ownership, authorization, or legal concern.
- The original source URL or another supporting URL.
- Any context needed to identify the work and the issue.
- Verification that the request is being submitted by a person.
Incomplete reports may be delayed or rejected if we cannot understand the request or identify the issue.
Who May Submit a Request
Requests should be submitted by the rights holder, an authorized agent, or a person with a good-faith legal basis to request review of the post.
If you are submitting a request on behalf of someone else, you should have authority to act for that person or organization.
What Happens After Submission
After you submit a report, we may review the post, the information provided, and any related Site records.
If a report is approved, we will take appropriate action for the affected post, which may include removing or restricting it on the Site. We review each request based on the information provided and the context of the post.
False or Abusive Requests
Submit only truthful and complete requests. False, misleading, incomplete, automated, or abusive reports may be rejected.
Abuse of the report system may result in account restrictions, report limits, or a permanent ban.
Removed or Unavailable Posts
If a post is already removed, hidden, or otherwise unavailable, the report form may not accept a new request for that post.
If you need to ask about a removed or unavailable post for a legal or policy reason, use the contact page below.
Other Legal or Policy Questions
For legal or policy questions that are not tied to a specific post, please email us through our contact page.
